Flamingo Art Car

As part of a collaboration with Miami Design Shop (based out of, you guessed it, Miami, Fl.), we designed and fabricated this Flamingo-themed art car using a fully operational scissor lift for Art Basel 2016. The goal was to take the art out of the galleries and into the streets with a mobile piece. After the South Florida based art conference, the piece remains in action, showing up at different events, parties and festivals around Miami and the greater South Florida region. Visitors to the area who happen to stumble upon it really get a kick out of jumping on board for a ride, or catching a flick when it’s base gets elevated and it rises to become a 40 foot upright flamingo.
